One of the best parts about walking is exploring the wilderness or even cities that I've never been to. For years, I have walked all kinds of trails and conversation parks in my hometown. There are many so many health benefits to walking. Benefits include burning calories and body fat, reduces risks of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and stronger bones. Best of all, I can do this all for free!



How Often Do I Walk?
When summer hits, I walk at every chance I get especially when it's sunny. Summer doesn't last long here in Canada so I'm going out for a walk everyday whether it's a walk in my neighbourhood, a conversation area, or go for a stroll in downtown Toronto.

How I Prepare Myself For The Walk

I make sure to wear comfortable footwear like running shoes. (will never do sandales or crocs ever again) For long distances I bring my backpack with me and I make sure to have all the essentials with me. Essentials include water, sunscreen, more water, some energy bars, and most importantly, WATER!
